Brenda W. Ng, M.D. most recently served as a pathologist at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, CA, where she has was an attending pathologist from 2003 and served as the Medical Director of Cytopathology from 2006 to 2024. She earned her B.A. in Physiology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her M.D. from the University of Southern California.
Dr. Ng completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, followed by fellowships in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology at UCSF. She holds certifications from the American Board of Pathology in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and a subspecialty in Cytopathology. Her research includes studies in geriatric physiology, oncogene amplification, and ovarian tumors. Dr. Ng has been recognized with numerous awards for academic excellence and has published several articles in prominent medical journals.
