Dr. Tran is a highly accomplished pathologist specializing in anatomic and clinical pathology, with extensive expertise in genitourinary pathology. Dr. Tran holds board certification from the American Board of Pathology and is licensed to practice in California. Dr. Tran’s education includes a fellowship in genitourinary pathology at Indiana University School of Medicine, a surgical pathology fellowship, and an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from UC Davis, where she graduated summa cum laude.
Professionally, Dr. Tran has served as a staff pathologist at El Camino Pathology Medical Group and was a partner and board member at Vista Pathology. She has held academic positions, including Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, where she contributed to teaching and research in genitourinary pathology. Her work has been widely recognized, with numerous awards and published research, particularly in the areas of renal tumors and prostate cancer.
